Plasma DR^TM detectors are based on a proprietary technology that incorporates an innovative microplasma line addressing, a direct conversion amorphous selenium sensor and low-noise readout ASICs into a flat panel detector. The end result is robust, radiation hard, high quality flat panel detectors that produce a digital image with excellent diagnostic quality.

Claymont’s proprietary Plasma DR^TM replaces the complex and expensive array of active elements found in other systems with an innovative fab-less Virtual Pixel Array^TM. This eliminates dead pixels. With its nearly 17” x 17” imaging area, the Quix-200 captures radiographic images that cover the entire anatomical region of interest in either portrait or landscape orientation without rotation of the detector.

Installation of the Quix-200 Flat Panel Digital Detector is fast and easy; most installations are accomplished in less than a day.

The Quix-200 Flat Panel Digital Detector has full regulatory approval and is packaged for OEMs, integrators and VARs as part of Claymount Universal Retrofit Kit, which maximizes return on investment by enabling digital upgrades to any new or previously installed equipment.
