Claymount Flat Panel Bucky’s meet all requirements to make full use of all digital capabilities. The most important features are the patented pendulum grid movement, grid replaceability, and grid specification guided speed system adaptation to all existing dose measurement techniques. The patented pendulum grid movement results in a dose reduction from 5 to 18%. The pendulum technology is essential to make optimum use of the linear sensitivity of digital detectors. Grid replacement can be done by simply sliding the grid out of the bucky. Different grids can be mounted in the same bucky to optimize patient studies and improve system versatility. Claymount Flat Panel Bucky’s are available for mounting on a stand or under a table. The bucky housing can be made to customer specification.
